Wilma Lee (Corkran) Eubank, 95 of Raytown, MO, passed away on May 6th, 2022.
Wilma was born in Medford, MO on December 31st, 1926 to John and Katie Lou (Courtney) Corkran. Wilma attended schools in Medford, MO Pleasant View, MO, Holden MO and Abilene, KS before graduating from Raytown High School in 1944. Wilma was employed at B. F. Goodrich before becoming a stay at home mother to raise her 5 children. Wilma enjoyed playing cards with a few different groups and always enjoyed playing the slots at the casinos. She was active in Campfire Girls, Jobs Daughters Bethel 55 and Raytown DeMolay. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Blvd United Methodist Church. She was a member of Golden Key, Shepherd Center and the Raytown Historical Society. Wilma became an Avon lady in her neighborhood and won numerous sales awards.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents John and Katie Lou Corkran, first husband Roy Orten (1954), second husband Wesley “Butch” Matlock (1957) and her husband of 24 years Edward Eubank (1982), brother John Corkran, son David Eubank, daughter Donna Johnson and grandson Wyatt Eubank.
Wilma is survived by brother Robert (Margaret) Corkran, Corrales NM, brother Keith Corkran, Olathe KS, sister Jodie (Bob) Smith Raytown, MO, daughters Linda Gray of Raytown, MO, Rhonda (Mike) Burke of Raytown, MO, Sandra (David) Saheb of Tonganoxie, KS, 10 grandchildren, 13 soon to be 14 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Raytown Historical Society or the American Cancer Society.
