Yvette was born on March 21st, 1961 in North Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Elizabeth “Betty” Irick. Yvette married Terry “Wayne” King on November 11th, 1979. She retired in 2017, after working for the United States Postal Service for 31 years.
Yvette is preceded in death by her husband Wayne King, parents Joseph and Betty Irick, sister Sharon Irick, and nephew Marcus Priddy. She is survived by her son Garrett King and wife, Kelly, of Orrick; two grandsons Jackson King and Anderson King, both of Orrick; two sisters, Carol Irick of Kansas City, Linda Welch and husband, Palmer, of Leavenworth,, and one brother Joe Irick and wife, Angie, also of Kansas City.
At Yvette’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
