Abdolhossin was born and raised in Abadan, Iran, and later moved to the United States, where he built a life through resilience, determination, and hard work. He attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. He then worked as an Oil Engineer, dedicating himself to providing for his family. Creating a life in a new country was not easy, but he did it with strength and perseverance, and his family is deeply proud of the life he built and the legacy he leaves behind.
He loved cooking and grilling, especially baking bread, and he never turned down dessert. Food was one of the many ways he showed love, especially through his favorite cuisines, Persian and Indian food. He also enjoyed watching the news and movies, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
Abdolhossin was known for his humor, warmth, and generosity. He was often the funniest person in the room and lived life with an optimistic “never say never” attitude. He expressed love through food, acts of service, and laughter, and made everyone feel welcome and at home.
Abdolhossin married his beloved wife, Nahid Naghashzadeh, in Iran in April of 1997. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud pet parent to his dog, Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Khadijeh and Fatollah Khoshbakht, and his brothers, Reza, Ali, and Hassan.
Abdolhossin is survived by his loving wife, Nahid Naghashzadeh, and his daughters, Yasmine Khoshbakht and Yasna Khoshbakht, who will forever carry his strength, laughter, and love with them.
His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the life he worked so hard to build.
