Annette Rita Stewart

Annette was born April 30, 1968 in Pirmasens, Germany and lived her early life in Hermersberg, Germany. She graduated high school from Hauptschule Waldfischbach-Burgalben in Waldfischbach-Burgalben, Germany. She met her husband Scott Stewart in 1985 while he was stationed in Germany in the U.S Air Force. They moved to Houston in October 1994.

Annette loved celebrating good times with her friends. She also loved being outdoors and was an avid bicyclist and runner. She competed in over 90 organized running events including the Houston Marathon (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) and Houston Half Marathon (2010, 2011, 2018, 2019, 2020).

Annette is preceded in death by her parents Erwin and Gerlinde Baumann. She is survived by her husband Scott Stewart and her siblings Silvia Spendlinger, Markus and wife Andrea Baumann, Peter and wife Diana Baumann, Volker Baumann, Sybille Baumann and partner Uwe Scheer, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 3pm at the Forest Park Westheimer cemetery located at 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77077.
