

Born and raised between the Philippines and Hawai‘i, Antonia lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Her early years were shaped by a strong sense of community and devotion, values she carried throughout her life. She completed her elementary education and went on to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to her family, working as a dry cleaners clerk while also serving with pride as a housewife.
Antonia was especially known for her gifted hands and generous heart. An accomplished crocheter and an excellent cook, she lovingly shared her talents with family and friends. She also worked tirelessly alongside her husband, offering steadfast help in farming, embodying partnership, resilience, and love. Her favorite role of all was caring for her family, particularly cherishing the time spent surrounded by her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy.
A woman of grace and quiet strength, Antonia had a fondness for the colors pink and lilac, reflecting her gentle spirit. She was once crowned Queen in her local town in the Philippines and proudly served as an officer of the Catholic Women’s Club. A devout Catholic throughout her 103 years, her faith guided her actions and sustained her through every season of life.
Antonia was married to the love of her life, Melchor M. Villegas, in Hawai‘i on October 8, 1949. Together they built a home filled with love, hard work, and laughter, surrounded by beloved dogs and cats.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melchor M. Villegas; her daughter, Melody Ann Villegas; her brothers, Proceso Magallones, William Magallones, and Danny Batino; and her sisters, Florence Rosario and Martina Marcelino.
She is survived by her son, Frank M. Villegas, and his wife, Loida; and her loving children and grandchildren: Patti Ann and Tom Bui, daughters Gianna, Jaleen, and Kaileah; Vincent and Allyn Villegas, sons Maddox and Alyx; Lori Ann and Chris Palis, children Elias, Natalie, and Matthew; Frances and Reggie Aberin, daughter Ellie.
Her daughter Priscilla Gwen and her husband, Florencio Singson; Zarema and Mike Adams, daughters Makayla and Eliza; Diana and Rick Berry, daughter Layla; Clarissa Singson; and Stephanie and Nicolas Palaskas, children Olivia, Alexander, and Isabella.
She is also survived by her grandson, Melvic Giron, and his children Zoe, Micah, and Lucas; and her granddaughter, Jordyn Lessenberry, and her husband, Jeremy, and their children Mailelani, Noa, Kai, and Alana.
Antonia is further survived by her great-grandchildren Amarie, Ronin, Raydan, and Ayla.
She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Philippines; and many relatives and dear friends in the Philippines, who held her close in their hearts across the miles.
Above all, Antonia Magallones Villegas will be remembered as an extraordinary mother and grandmother, especially cherished by her grandchildren, whose love knew no limits. Her faith, kindness, and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Katy Funeral Home, located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, US, on January 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
