Brenda Joy Cryderman

Born July 29th, 1949 in Greencastle, IN to Frederick and Rhoda Buis, Brenda served in the Navy from September 1986 to October 1993. Upon retirement from the military, Brenda graduated second in her class from Northwest Mississippi Community College with a degree in respiratory therapy, and she worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital System in Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS as a respiratory therapist until her retirement in February 2019.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James “Buddy” Buis and Terry Borden, as well as her husband Ronald Cryderman. Her memory is cherished by her daughters, Sara Jones and Cristina Cryderman of Houston, TX; siblings Frederick Buis, Jr of Quinlan, TX, Barbara Greene of Williamsburg, KY, Jerry Hoese of Marianna, FL, and Linda Borden of Houston, TX; grandchildren Keri Bradley of Gilmer, TX, Joseph, Caleb, and Lucas Jones of Houston, TX, and Gabriella Cryderman of Houston, TX; great grand-daughter Brynlee Jones of Gilmer, TX; along with numerous extended family, friends, and former coworkers.

Brenda will be remembered as a woman of strong character, fierce determination, and an unwavering faith in Jesus.
