

Bridget had worked at Cinco Ranch High School in the special education department since 2003, following volunteer work at Beck Junior High and Cinco High.
Earlier, in Naperville, Illinois, she had been a Cub Scout den leader and a religious education teacher for elementary school students.
She was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1954 to Marvada French Bergan and Dr. Joseph Bergan, but grew up in Michigan City, Indiana. She was a 1976 graduate of Purdue University.
Bridget is survived by her husband, Greg; two sons, Kevin and Steve; and nine siblings, Joe (Jean), Pat (Diane), Mary Saba, Sue (Dave) Grimaldi, Tom (Robin), Jim (Danya), Ellen (Daven) Carlson, George (Kim) and Pete (Maureen).
She is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews; in-laws Karon Clock Lemming and Linda and Bill Cox; and her beloved Tibetan terrier, Sammy.

A visitation is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Katy Funeral Home, including a Rosary at 5:30 p.m. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Michigan City.
