

He was born in Kaohsiung (高雄), Taiwan on March 11th 1953 to WANG Chi-Yi (王啟義) and LIU Fa-Shu (劉法淑). He was the second of four children (成華, 成功, 成賢, 成平). He graduated from Feng-Shan High School (鳳山高中). He then enrolled in Chung Cheng Institute of Technology (中正理工學院) in 1972. He received a bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1976, served in the Republic of China Air Force and spent his military career under the Combined Service Forces (聯勤總部). Due to his gift in machinery, he was appointed as a supervising officer in the Combined Service Armory (聯勤202兵工廠). After completing 20 years of military service, he retired with honor at the rank of Colonel in August 1996.
He emigrated with his family to the United States in 1996 and became a US citizen in 2002. He started his second career in 1997 as a production manager at Hong Hai Precision Industry until his retirement in 2014. In his spare time, he liked gardening and cultivating cucumbers and bitter melons. He was a connoisseur of Taiwanese tea. His favorites were Dong-Ding Oolong and Wenshan Baozhong. He also enjoyed playing badminton avidly and was an expert Mahjong player.
He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother. He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Fan; son, Adrien; daughter, Christy and husband Brandon; grandsons Logan and Beckham.
Mr. Wang was an honorable Officer, loving Husband and caring Father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11AM on the 2nd day of January 2021 in the chapel of Texas Liberty Mausoleum of the Memorial Oaks Cemetery. 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079.
A funeral service will be held right after, followed by a graveside service at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
