

David Chalmers Carlos, 35 of Katy, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. He was born on Friday, May 24, 1985, to Warren and Charleen (DeRoche) Carlos in Houston, Texas. After graduating high school, he attended college in Nacogdoches, Texas.
David loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting or spending time with friends. He always engaged in stimulating and deep conversations with everyone. David had the gift of making others feel safe to be open with their thoughts and feelings. He was never at a loss for words and had an insight to any subject.
David’s childhood friends were like family to him. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him, from family and friends to his fellow co-workers. To know David is to have been blessed by a heart bigger than no other. He was a great source of unconditional love and friendship to those close to him. He will forever be deeply missed.
David is survived by his father, Warren Carlos and brother, Bryan Carlos of Katy, Texas and grandmother, Stella DeRoche of Bourg, Louisiana. He is also survived by many friends and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Charleen Carlos, grandparents, Rudolph and Jeanette Carlos, and aunt, Gayle DeRoche.
