David Hutchinson, 54, passed away on March 16, 2025. Born on June 15, 1970, in Trenton, NJ, David earned his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from LeCordon Bleu. He had a successful career in restaurant management, where his love for cooking and quick wit—often paired with punny dad jokes—made him a beloved figure to those around him.
David had many passions, including scuba diving, humorously supporting his wife, Tammy, in her love of tent camping, and attending every game and event where his children were involved. But his greatest joy was traveling and going on adventures with his family. Above all, David was devoted to his faith and his family, and his love for both guided everything he did.
On October 1st, 1991, David married his best friend and partner, Tammy Hutchinson, in Wylie, TX. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Breanna Lopez Cordova, James Hutchinson, and Aimee Hutchinson.
David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Virginia Hutchinson; his maternal grandparents, Norris and Jane Brunsvold; and his father, Robert Hutchinson Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Hutchinson; his children, Breanna Lopez Cordova and husband Cesar, James Hutchinson and wife Michelle, and Aimee Hutchinson; his granddaughter, Eliana Lopez, daughter of Breanna and Cesar Lopez Cordova; his mother, Pam Maroul and stepfather, Henry Maroul; his sister, Shani Krpec and her spouse Darrell; and numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at CrossRoad Church on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where family and friends can come together to honor and remember David’s remarkable legacy.
David will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His humor, kindness, and devotion to his family will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to call him friend and family.
