Glenda began her studies in nursing in England, then migrated to Canada, starting in Montreal, and building a life in Toronto. She eventually moved in her later years of life to Florida, where she retired from nursing.
Glenda loved to travel, especially on cruises. She loved carnival and calypso. She was masterful in all forms of needlework, especially needle point. She was also an avid doll collector, ceramic as well as international pieces. She laughed with mirth, and loved life.
Glenda is survived by her 3 children, Diarra Jerome, Ermine Jerome Awai & Gerwyn Furlonge, as well as her 9 grandchildren.
She was loved by those who surrounded her and will be dearly missed.
