It's been a little over two months now since the angels came to take you home. Many thoughts, prayers and candles have been lit in memory of you. What a wonderful son you were. I am so proud, as your Dad would have been, at the man you became,and admired by so many. You are healed and at rest with our Heavenly Father and can hear your final words  from 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight,I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Wow!  After reading these guest book entries, I missed a lot by only knowing John through listening to Mary brag about him.  This is obviously a great loss for friends as well as family.  My condolences to all, especially my friends Mary and Cora, and to their mother who I feel I know through them.  As a fellow service member, I salute John's service.  When John's dad passed last fall, I gave the same Navy sendoff that I give now - 'Fair winds and following seas.'

Had a lot of fun hanging around John in high school. He made what could of been a really boring art class a blast. He definitely had a gift to make you laugh. What a great guy. Until we meet again John.

What an amazing and remarkable man Mr John Brewster was. I feel so lucky that I got to know him and work for him @LTD! He gave me the chance to make money & I will forever hold his memory in my heart.

We learn something from everyone who passes through our lives. Some lessons are painful, some are painless but, all are priceless. Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them. Today will be rough but God will give us the strength we need to get through. As we pay our respects and say our farewells to our beloved John Brewster let the wonderful memories we all shared with him give us a reason to smile. Let the tears we shed be happy tears knowing he is in a better place no more pain and suffering. He fought for our country and fought for his life. I look at him losing his battle as God enlisted a soldier he knows is a true fighter and need him more than us. As I write this tears roll down my face but the bound he and I and all of us shared with him will have forever. Rest in peace my friend John Brewster gone too soon and will be dearly missed
