Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bernice Conkle of Chester, WV.
Mike is survived by his sister, Cookie Lantz, [Michael] of North Carolina. His Children, Michael David, [Karen] of Virginia, Thomas, [Megan] of Maryland and Cheryl of Virginia. His grandchildren, Sarah, Mykayla, Geoffrey and John and his step-daughter Melissa Walker of Texas and her son, Winston.
Mike grew up in Chester WV, attended Oak Glen High School before enlisting in the Army, where get spent time in Germany. Mike worked as the city driver for PGT Trucking, Monaca, PA before retiring. He enjoyed driving the “big” trucks.
Mike enjoyed camping, spending many hours around the campfire with friends. He was a NASCAR fan. He was loved by his pets. It was said he spoiled them and that he could herd cats.
