Reba Irene Partin passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the remarkable age of 101. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on February 16, 1924, Reba was the eldest child of Dewey and Vina Mae Miller. From an early age, she displayed strength and resilience. After the passing of her mother when she was just ten years old, Reba and her siblings were placed in Faith Home where she made lasting memories and was lovingly visited by her father. At age fifteen, she was reunited with her father, stepmother, and two younger brothers in Houston, Texas, where the family had moved in search of better opportunities.
In 1947, Reba married the love of her life, George Partin. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who created a warm and welcoming home where all felt cherished. Her unwavering kindness and selflessness touched everyone she encountered. Reba had a unique gift for making others feel seen and valued, and her gentle presence brought comfort and peace.
Reba lived through a century of remarkable change, yet her values remained rooted in faith, compassion, and the importance of family. She was the heart of her family, offering wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love that shaped generations. Her legacy of love, generosity, and grace will continue to live on in those who knew her.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Reba loved watching old movie with Bill, shopping, watching QVC, cheering on the Houston Astros, and growing in her faith through church services and the teachings of Ed Young and Joyce Meyer.
Reba is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Partin; her daughter, Ann Marie McWilliams; great-granddaughter, Olivia Brooks; parents, Dewey and Vina Mae Miller; and siblings, Frances Peacock and Riley Miller.
She is survived by her son, John “Buddy” McWilliams; daughters, Georgia Aben and husband Marius Aben, and Sherrie Prachyl and husband William Prachyl; grandchildren, Connie Minshew, Jason Raines, Tanya Picardi and husband Paul Picardi, Nicholas Winter and wife Nevielle Winter, and Kelly Brooks and husband Steve Brooks. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, James McWilliams, Kristen Christopher and husband Zach Christopher, Alyssa Lyons, Lane Winter, Lana Lyons, Avery Brooks, Aubrey Winter, Ashton Winter, Emma Brooks, Aiden Winter, and Cooper Winter; and great-great-grandchildren, Kenya Christopher and Effie Winter. Reba is also survived by her brothers, Milton Miller and Gary Miller, and sister-in-law Mary Ann Miller.
Reba’s family will carry her memory forward with hearts full of gratitude for the love and example she gave so generously. Her life was a blessing and her presence will be deeply missed.
