Rhonda Ruth Halekakis

Rhonda grew up in Eagle Pass, Texas and graduated from Eagle Pass High. She loved watching and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Houston Astros, not to mention the Houston Oilers.

Rhonda had a massive collection of sports memorabilia that has brought her pleasure throughout the years. She also enjoyed playing pool, watching sports, cheering on her teams, watching Fox News and binge-watching Netflix.

Rhonda’s love of animals began when she was a member of the FFA in high school. But her heart belonged to her dogs Bo and Aussie. She loved her family and called and talked to them daily. This will be one of the many things we will dearly miss.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Halekakis; grandparents Sam and Irene Todd as well as her uncles Jerry Todd and Sammy Todd.

She is survived by her long-time partner Carol Dreyer; father Tony Halekakis; sister Roxy Gilchrist and her husband Alex; her sister Rosslyn Halekakis and significant other Les Vaughn; niece, Heather Howell and James, great nephew Niko Howell; great niece Lexi Howell as well as her aunt Shirley Todd.
