Robin Leah Roberts Zerr

Robin Leah Roberts Zerr, age 41, a loving wife and mother, left this world to go to Heaven on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, in Houston. Robin was born on August 17, 1973, in Stillwater, OK, to Tony and Judy Roberts. Shortly after her birth, Robin and her family moved to Nicaragua where they lived for several years before returning to Oklahoma. The family moved to Houston, where Robin eventually attended and graduated from Klein Forest High School. She attended the University of Houston, where she received a bachelor's degree. Robin worked as a Human Resources Professional in the Oil and Gas Industry for 18 years. Robin married William Zerr on December 6, 2002, in Richmond, TX. They settled in Katy, TX. They were blessed with their beautiful daughter, Jordan, in 2005. The family remained in Katy, loving one another and enjoying their lives together. Robin loved to spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed doing crafts around the house, working in her garden and helping her daughter with homework and play. Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Judy. She is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Jordan; and father, Tony and brother, Anthony (Sam) Roberts, both of Houston. She is also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emil and Barbara Zerr, of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX; sister and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Jim Boren and Debbie and Jeff Legler, all of San Antonio; and five nieces and nephews: Sarah Harris, Hope Harris, Grant Boren, Emily Boren, all of San Antonio; and Nick Legler, of Denver, CO. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 5:30-6:30PM. Funeral services will begin at 6:30PM, in the Chapel of Katy Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Law will officiate.
