Roel Medina was only 55 when he passed away suddenly on July 30, 2016 at his home in Katy, Texas. After Roel completed his business program he went immediately to work in the industry for which he was passionate. He worked for more than four decades in Texas broadcasting and in that time progressed from cameraman to General Manager for four major television markets.
Roel was a family man and devoted husband. He raised three children, loved his two grandsons, and was dedicated to his mother, father, brother and sisters. He was the hardest working man that his family, and extended family has ever known. His directors, colleagues and associates also respected and appreciated his leadership, creativity, long hours at work and dedication to every detail of company success. He was well respected for his work ethic by all who knew him. He worked tirelessly with love and compassion in every aspect of caring for family and friends, cultivating his faith in God, gardening and cooking.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa, his children Brittany, Madison and Colt, his grandsons Jonathan and Joshua and their father David, his mother Oliva and father Nieves, sisters Melly, Letty, Missy and brother Raul.
