Sharon was born in Hemingford, Nebraska, on October 2, 1940. She was the firstborn of seven children to parents Arthur and Ruby Lucke. She spent her formative years in Greenup, Kentucky, attending school and graduating from high school there. During this time, she met and fell in love with Charles Bramblett.
On April 16, 1959, Sharon and Charles were married in Greenup, Kentucky. Charles, who had previously enlisted in the Army, deployed immediately after. Military life enabled them to live on bases in several states and in Germany. Together, they had four daughters and shared a life rooted in devotion to family. They would eventually settle in Texas, where Sharon built a steady and respected career in management with Chevron in Houston, Texas, eventually retiring in 1999.
Sharon loved, supported, and cared for her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed organizing and cooking family meals that gathered everyone together and made home feel like home. She enjoyed pottery, crocheting, drawing, singing, gardening, and family game nights that included Uno, Yahtzee, and Monopoly, to name a few. She also enjoyed playing Solitaire and spending time in Galveston riding the ferry and taking in the Gulf breeze.
Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are the moments that were nearest and dearest to her heart. She held on to life as long as she could, making memories that will last beyond her lifetime. She was truly a gift from God and will be missed tremendously, and her absence in the flesh will be forever felt. However, considering her strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we believe deeply that one day, at his return, we will see her again.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her sisters, Donna, Bobby Jo, Beverly, and Virginia; her brother, Butch; and her great-granddaughter, Trinity. She is survived by her brother, Ray; four daughters, Teresa (Keith Jackson), Sheri Fox, Angelia (Ron Schallhorn), and Katherine (Bill Cochran); ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way; and four great-great-grandchildren.
