

Stan was born April 6, 1938, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Anderson and Ethel Flynn and was one of six siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
He graduated from Hopewell High School in 1956 then faithfully and honorably served his country for six years in the Ohio Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force. He then attended Ohio State University graduating in 1965 with a degree in Geology. After graduation he was employed in the oil industry as a petroleum geologist working nationally and internationally for over 30 years. After retiring from the oil industry Stan could not sit idly by, he started a private ambulance company based in Katy Texas and worked with his wife at an industrial printing company.
He was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #85 and several Geologic Professional Associations. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, playing golf, traveling the world and working outdoors.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 40 years, Monika, brother, Terry, sons Eric, James and wife Patricia, Jonathan and daughter Erin and husband Eric, 5 grandchildren Austin, Payton, Keagan, Caragan, Sofia, niece Ewa, numerous cousins, friends, and loving protective dog Nala.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 6, from 2:00-4:00PM. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00PM.
