Stephen Langley Walker

Walker, Stephen Langley was born May 24th, 1950 in San Antonio Texas to Herman Vincent Walker and Oralie Langley. He was the beloved brother to the late Vincent “Jerry” Walker also from San Antonio Texas. Stephen then moved to West Virginia where he graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1969. Here he met his soul mate and high school sweetheart Deborah Kay Fortney. Stephen and Deborah then moved and resided in Texas where they began their family and were happily married for 38 years. Stephen was a self employed landscaper that has always dedicated himself to his wife and family. Stephen went to be with the Lord on December 1st 2015. He is survived by his three beautiful daughters: Stephanie and son-in-law Tony Brodin, Stacey Walker, Sara and son-in-law Joey Evans. When it came to family, Stephen took pride and enjoyed being with his 5 grandchildren - Amy Siebert, Kaylea and Colton Brodin; Samantha and Avery Evans. Visitation will be on Sunday the 6th at Katy Funeral home, located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd Katy, Texas 77494 form 6pm until 8pm. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9am. Following the funeral, family will travel to San Antonio to have a gravesite ceremony to lay Stephen to his final resting spot, next to his wife.
