William "Bill" E. Cary

Following graduation from High School Bill joined the Navy. He served honorably during WW11 and was discharged in 1946. He entered the University of Houston and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. Bill was employed in the gas industry for over fifty years, and retired from Transco in 1988. He then followed his love for the water to reside in Tiki Island near Galveston.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Katy Cary. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mickey and his daughter Cindy. He is survived by his son Bill Cary, Jr. and wife, Linda and Sandy Askin, his step-daughter. He has two grandchildren Travis Reid and wife Essy and Allison Janik and Husband Clay, all of Austin, Texas. He has three great-grandchildren, Audry, Briana and Reece.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 18, 2016 at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, Texas 77494.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Carriage Inn Memory Center in Katy, Texas.
