What started out in 1970 as a part-time hobby, Bernice’s skilled hands crafted many beautiful cakes turning her part-time business into a "full-time passion" offering many beautiful creations for over 31 years, and was fondly known as the "Cake Lady" by many. She also enjoyed crafts and crocheting, of which, she warmed the hearts of many with her crocheting of hats for cancer patients and newborns, which she provided to patients and families at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
During the holidays, Bernice could be found in the kitchen making cookies and her famous holiday mix to give to family and friends. She treated everyone she met as if she knew them forever, and with love and kindness.
