He was a son of Clarence and Esther (Smith) Green of Greenfield, MA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Jean (Holmes); son Alan and wife Shirley of Riverton, CT; daughter Brenda and husband Tom Walker of Greenfield, MA; daughter Shelley of Stoddard, NH; grandson Derek and his wife Brianna; granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Dave Kemp; granddaughters Kristen, Emily, Hannah, Grace, Sarah and great grandson Timothy (son of Derek and Brianna).
Donald was an accomplished private pilot having accrued over 2500 hours. He was very active with the Plainville, CT Lions club for over 30 years and served in many offices.
Services will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm.
