Eleanor E. Robertson

Born July 6, 1931 in Charleston, MA she was the daughter of Charles Nicholas and Sadie Vay (Steersburg) Johansen.

Eleanor grew up on the Cape and graduated from Brewster High school. She went on to attend Mass Memorial School of Nursing in Boston where she received her RN.

Ellie met and married Lester Robertson in April 1953. She was a stay at home mom who traveled to many states with her husband and four daughters during her husband’s military career.

Her greatest joy in life was traveling with her husband and time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Jan and son-in-law Bob Fish of Bennington, NH, Daughter Kay and son-in-law Curtis Golden of Marlborough, NH, daughter Holly Shaw of Groton, CT, her grandchildren Jennifer Weston of Temple, NH, Sara Arsenault of Alton, NH, Kelly Crowley of Alameda, CA, Alison Golden of Boston, MA, Thomas Crowley of New London, CT, Justin Shaw of Anchorage, AK, PJ Marazoff of Hinsdale, NH, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Lester S. Robertson and daughter Lisa Marazoff.
