He was born in Fitzwilliam, NH on September 30, 1929, the son of Gladys Alma (Fletcher) and Chester Irwin Bosworth Sr.
Elmer worked with Markem Corporation in Keene, NH for over 30 years. Upon his retirement, he and his wife, Polly moved to Cape Coral.
Following Polly’s passing in 2003, Elmer returned to New Hampshire for a few years, later returning again to the sunshine state until his passing.
A life of love and laughter, Elmer will be greatly missed by many, especially his two sons, Steven Bosworth and his wife, Teresa, of Ocala, FL, Bruce Bosworth and his wife, Patty, of Westmoreland, NH; a daughter, Donna; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Cliff Bosworth of Keene; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Rita "Polly" (Caron) Bosworth; a brother, Chester Irwin Bosworth, Jr.; and two sisters, Ethel Wood and Barbara Lamoureux.
A graveside service and committal will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00am in the Woodland Cemetery, North Lincoln Street Entrance, Keene. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
