Gloria was a public servant for the Towns of Alstead and East Alstead for 40 plus years. She served in many capacities including President and co-founder of the women’s auxiliary, Town Clerk/tax collector, board of Selectpersons, and was also active with the historical society.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ken. She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses: Steve and Pia of Arizona, Cheryl and Scott of Florida, Laurie and Mike of Connecticut, Jan and Rick of Florida, Scott of Florida and Dawn and Roger of Washington State. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A graveyard service opened to the public will be held at the West Cemetery in East Alstead on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM where she will be laid to rest next to her best friend, Ken.
