She was welcomed to the world on April 8, 1936 in Belmont, NH, the daughter of Joseph and Arlene (Gray) Morin. She grew up in Laconia where she attended area schools.
On June 20, 1953 Irene married Roger Voudren. They celebrated 50 years of happiness and raising their family in Marlborough before his passing in 2003.
Irene was a longtime employee of Sims Portex where she retired from as a machine operator.
A caring and loving mother and grandmother, Irene will be remembered for her strong and brave spirit. She was thankful and always willing to give to others. Irene had a way of being unintentionally funny. More than anything, she cherished time spent with family.
Irene will be dearly missed by her children: Roger Voudren, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Marlborough, Doreen Hodgeman and her husband Don of West Swanzey, and Diane Parent and her significant other Charlie Larkin of Windham; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother: Joseph Morin, Jr. of New Hampton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
She was predeceased by her husband: Roger Voudren, Sr.; daughter: Irene Buffum; and several siblings.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, May 2 at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Marlborough, NH.
