

He was born in Keene, March 30, 1939, the son of Bernard and Katherine ( Shutzman) Jarvis. He attended Keene Schools and served in the US Navy. After an Honorable Discharged, he enrolled in Keene Teacher's College.
Jac was a theater enthusiast, playing roles at Keene Teacher's College, Brattleboro Little Theater, Keene Summer Theater and the Keene Lion's Club productions.
His many careers included positions with: UPS, National Grange, MacKenzie's Restaurants, and Hamblet Electric, which eventually lead to him becoming a self-employed Master Electrician. He moved to Naples, Florida in 1987 where he enjoyed his role of managing Condos near the beach. He moved back to the Keene area in 2000 and became an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. During the first year of his grandson Nathan’s life, he was very proud of being a primary caregiver, looking after his beloved grandchild.
He is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth A. Jarvis of Keene; his grandson: Nathan Jarvis Wright of Keene; his sister: Sandra Smith and her husband Blaine of Maineille, Ohio; his cousins: Bev Smith and her husband, Dave of Swanzey and Lorraine Whipple and her husband, Roger also of Swanzey and his longtime friend Selma Dutcher.
There will be no Public Calling Hours. Services and burial will be private.
