Janet A Corliss Russell

She was born, in Keene, on December 21, 1933, the daughter of Harold S. and Elizabeth P. (Borden) Corliss, Sr. She was a 1952 graduate of Keene High School.

She married Carl E. Russell, of Marlborough, on May 4, 1956. At that time she moved to Marlborough, where she resided for 57 years.

Most recently she had worked at Keene Industrial Paper in their Party Department. She was a founding member of the Marlborough Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Evening United Church Group of the Marlborough Federated Church.

She enjoyed knitting and camping in North Conway as well as along the Beach areas of Maine. Spending family time, especially around family birthdays, was very important. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl E. Russell, of Marlborough; two children: Kathleen R. Clark and her husband Ronald of Marlborough and James H. Russell and his wife Laurie of Nelson; and two grandchildren: Scott Alan Clark and his wife Christina of Stoddard and Adam Leigh Clark and his wife Melissa of Gilsum. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold S Corliss, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 5th at 10:00 AM in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Marlborough. Calling Hours will be held Sunday, August 4th, from 3:00 until 5:00 at the Fletcher Funeral Home.
