My Dear Jon - words are so hard. You were the kindest, gentlest person I have ever known. I thank you for all your love. For every time you opened up the cottage for my family, for every time you shoveled the snow off the roof, for every time you mowed the lawn for Mom. I thank you for how you loved Mom, she did love you too.

I miss your music, your smile, your positive attitude. You will forever be in my heart.

Thank you for the love you gave Jane. She misses you so much, but I know you will always be there for her. By her side no matter what, just like you were in life.

Good bye my friend, I’m sure you and Joe are smiling down, jamming your hearts out. I’m sure Mom greeted you with open arms and Dad was glad to meet you. You will be with us all forever.

And to my Jane. He will alway be with you. Every breeze, ray of sun, drop of rain. You were the love of his life, the one he enjoyed the last13 years beside. Hold on to him in your heart. But, know he would want you to live life.

I wish I could be with you all. I love you Janie, Ryan and Sheena. God bless you all. Love you. Cheeas.

I always sent Jon cards at random times just to make him smile. He called me That Crazy Card Lady. LOL. RIP Jon

Fond memories of braving snow storms just to go out and cut down trees so we could all have some firewood to stay warm. He was a tough dog!!😞🤗

My first memory was the Castor Family reunion 2012. Jon was trying to stop the truck before Jane jumped out to give me a hug. The last time I got to visit in person with Jon was labor day 2018. We had a wonderful after at Center Pond. Happy memories .

So many memories. Jon was my first love and we had a lot of great times in the 11 years we were together, through the 80’s and early 90’s. He was so smart, talented and funny. We remained friends and I will hold those memories in my heart forever. This is just so hard to believe. My heart is so heavy, especially for his family and Jane. Much love to all of you at this most difficult time. God Bless ❤️
