I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great, kind hearted human being. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in my thoughts during this difficult time. Melissa and I got to know each other while working at Rose Meadow Garden and then the Acres. My greatest memories to hold are when she and I would go on outings together and just chit chat and laugh the whole time. Her great energy was undeniable. We will all miss Melissa and will continue to share her memory.

I'll always remember Melissa for her energy, vibrant and strong personality, and her dedication to the residents at the Rose Meadow programs. She was a passionate advocate for them, and put a tremendous amount of time and effort into finding activities for them that brought real joy into their daily lives. Melissa had a light that went out too soon, but her spirit and her memory will shine on. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

There really are no words.  Everyone who knew Melissa are so shocked and full of sorrow over her loss.  My thoughts have been with you every day since.
I'll always remember Melissa for her love of dogs (which is what brought us together), her love of kids (she got so much joy from knowing my granddaughters), her love of gardening, of Maine and, of course, her family.  She supported everyone in her life in one way or another.
Sending you much love.  Please give Daisy lots of belly rubs and bumper scratches from me and all of her friends at Under One Woof.  And never hesitate to reach out if there's anything I can do. XOXOXO

I first met Melissa when she was activities director at the Farm.  What a kind and gentle soul she was! She treated residents and staff like family. I still have, and will always have, a little metal caring-heart she gave me after we lost one of our residents, I remember being so touched by her kindness and thoughtfulness. My heart is breaking for her family, and I’m sending all my love and prayers.💔
