Michael S. White Sr.

He was born in Keene, NH, October 22, 1960, the son of Donald Richard and Betty Jane (Sumner) White. He grew up in Winchester, NH, attending local schools.

He served in the United States Marine Corp.

Mr. White resided in Swanzey for the past 26 years. He worked for over 20 years with C&S Wholesalers in Brattleboro. He was a collector of comic books and movies. He also raised Schipperkes dogs. He enjoyed being in the great out of doors, and tending to his vegetable gardens. His favorite pastime was the time spent with his family, especially his grandson.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Linda T. (LaClair), a son, Michael S. White, Jr. a daughter, Amanda White, and a grandson, Matthew White, all of Swanzey; a sister, Theresa Perry of Winchester; two brothers, David White and Gary White both of Swanzey; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald White of Bangor, ME.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 6th at 12:30PM in the Westport Church, 109 Westport Road, Westport. Burial with military honors will follow in the Westport Cemetery, Westport Village Road, Swanzey. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
