She was born in Winchester on March 14, 1925, daughter of Winfred and Ruth (Lackey) Manning and was a 1943 graduate of Thayer High School.
She married Richard W. Frazier on Jan. 1, 1946 and moved to Swanzey, where they founded Frazier & Son Furniture, which is still a family owned business. Richard passed away in 1997, but Pearl stayed very involved in the day to day business operations until just a few years ago.
Pearl was a special lady to all who knew her, with her upbeat spirit and positive attitude. After she fully retired, she always had something to look forward to, whether it was the monthly family dinners, another upcoming cruise, going to her winter home in Silver Springs, Florida to meet up with all of her Snowbird friends, or coming back home in the spring. She was always busy. She also enjoyed doing some gambling, probably because she was so extremely lucky. She even won the Grand Prize in the Keene Lions Club’s first Duck Race. She was a Lion herself, being an active member of the Swanzey Lions Club for many years.
