Ronald "Ron" E. Spadaro

His parents, Joseph P. and Dorothy (Ariemma) Spadaro welcomed their son into the world on January 15, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York. Ron grew up in Amityville, New York and was a graduate of Amityville Memorial High School. He later attended Farmingdale (New York) College.

Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea.

A resident of Charlestown, New Hampshire for forty years, Ron worked for many years as the Business Manager with Springfield (Vermont) GMC Auto.

His favorite memories were created during time spent with his children and grandchildren. He loved attending their sporting events and performances, and was proudly present for their many activities. He also enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle and simply being home with his wife.

Ron will be greatly missed by many, especially his wife of 54 years, Susan (Marcley) Spadaro of Keene; his children, Kimberly (Thomas) Mark of Hopkinton, New Hampshire; Beth Anne (Michael) Wade of Clinton, Massachusetts; Danielle (Anthony) Ruffo of Swanzey, New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Kennedy Mark, Sydney Mark, Emelia Wade, Jameson Wade, Chase Ruffo, and Brooke Ruffo; his brothers, Richard Spadaro and his wife, Michele, of Centereach, New York, Kenneth Spadaro and his partner, Rob Chiffone, of Copiague Harbor, NY; his sister-in-law, JoAnn Spadaro of Virginia; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, New Hampshire. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 6th at 11:00am at St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene. A burial in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, New Hampshire, will be held privately by the family.
