Ruth dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a caregiver with Home Health Care, a role she truly loved. Even after her retirement, her service never stopped. She continued helping neighbors and friends, often joking that the people she cared for were usually younger than she was. Through her empathy, generosity, and steady presence, Ruth left a lasting footprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A faithful member of Beth-El Bible Church in Surry, New Hampshire, for over 50 years, Ruth was known for her unwavering commitment to her church family. She was affectionately described as a "good taxi service," frequently arriving at church with a car full of people. Tenacious and dependable, a true New Englander, Ruth showed her love through every action.
Ruth cherished traveling to be near her family. She especially enjoyed trips to Tennessee to visit her daughter, Heidi, and to Virginia to see her sister-in-law. One of her most treasured adventures was traveling to Los Angeles to attend her grandson's PhD ceremony, a trip that also allowed her to visit the Grand Canyon.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Kezar, and her husband, Mark Kezar; her grandchildren, Rachel and Alex; her nephew, Rick; her beloved cat, Little Joe; along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss her kindness.
A memorial service will be held at Beth-El Bible Church, 13 Village Road, Surry, NH 03431, on Saturday, January 31st at 11 am. Food and refreshments will be provided following the service for all attendees.
Ruth's life was one of service, faith, and love. A legacy that will continue to live on in the many lives she touched all across America.
