

Segrid A. Finley, 84 of Keene, NH formerly of Marlborough, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 26, 1932 in Lisbon, NH; the daughter of the late Loren and Margaret (Hughes) Welch.
Segrid was educated in the Lisbon School system, graduating from Lisbon High School. She was a very dedicated wife and mother and started her career after her children were raised. She was a Realtor with The Masiello Group BHG for thirty plus years and served as President on the Monadnock Board of Realtors. Segrid also, along with her husband, Donald worked as park ranger for Rollins Park in Warner, NH for nine years.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling, skiing, gardening and loved hosting family and friend gatherings. She was a member of the Federated Church-Marlborough, and was a very active parishioner. She was a 4H Leader and a member of the Kiwanians.
Segrid will always be remembered by her family and friends as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Finley in 2011; two brothers, Bill and John Welch and two sisters, Velma and Norma.
She is survived by a daughter, Michele Lawler and her husband Alan of Swanton, VT; three sons, Michael Finley of Jaffery, NH, Steven Finley and his wife Donna of Dayton, OH, and Eric Finley of Keene, NH; six grandchildren, Jeremy and his wife Courtney and Ethan Lawler, Jenna and Ellen Kate Finley and her husband Tim, and Shawn and his wife Alison and Jennifer Finley; two great grandchildren, Samuel and Elijah Lawler, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours will be at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlborough St., Keene, NH on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Federated Church of Marlborough, 16 Pleasant St. Marlborough, NH. A Reception will follow at the Marlborough Community House, 160 Main St. Marlborough, NH. The FLETCHER FUNERAL HOME, Keene, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
