Seth Watson Fisk 93, a longtime resident of North Swanzey, NH, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the Cheshire Medical Center Dartmouth Hitchcock, Keene, NH, following a brief period of failing health.
His parents, Mabel (LaBounty) and Seth Watson Fisk Sr. welcomed their son into the world on September 25, 1932, in Keene, NH. He grew up in Keene and was a graduate of Keene High School.
A hard worker skilled with his hands, Seth worked as a machinist with the former American Optical Company and later with Markem Corporation, both in Keene. During this time, he also had his own painting business. Not wanting to sit idle, following his retirement, Seth worked at the Keene Chrysler Plymouth dealership.
In his earlier years when he was able to find some free time, Seth enjoyed camping, skiing, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing horseshoes, fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed the many hunting trips with his son and grandson.
His favorite memories were those created with his family, having cookouts and going up to Kris’s camp every April to hang out with the "guys", enjoying a potluck dish and he would always bring his deviled eggs which were favorites to many.
Seth will be greatly missed by many, especially his son Lionel W. Fisk and his wife Lisa of North Swanzey; his grandchildren, Kevin W. Fisk and his wife Becky, Kyle J. Fisk and his wife Stacey; his great-grandchildren, Marshall W. Fisk, Rosemary G. Fisk, Sydney E. Bowers, Kaiden R. Bowers; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. His wife of 60 years, Avis C. (Malcolm) Fisk, and a sister, Eunice F. Kendall, predeceased him.
A celebration of Seth’s life and visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. A prayer service will be offered at 7:00pm by Rev. Donna Gage, Pastor of the Union Church in Westmoreland, NH where Seth was a member. Burial will be in the spring in the Mountain View Cemetery, Swanzey.
