Arthur "Art" B. McDonald

Arthur "Art" B. McDonald, age 75, of Keller, Texas passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. Born in Haskell, TX. on 12/20/47. He graduated from Haskell HS in 1966, went to Cisco Jr. College from 1966-1967. Lived there until getting married to Barbara Cass on 06/03/67. They moved to Fort Worth, Tx. and Art worked at General Dynamics until turning 21 years old. At 21, he went to work for Frito-Lay for 22 years. When he left Frito-Lay, he was a Regional sales Manager in Fort Worth. Then he worked for President Baking Co. for 2 years, followed Borden Dairy for approx. 20 +/-years. He retired at 66 years old. Art & Barbara have lived in Keller since 1973. They have two sons: Greg McDonald & Spencer McDonald. Greg married Mica Kiser and they live in Keller. They have 3 children: Marc Kiser, Rachel McDonald, & Olivia McDonald. Spencer McDonald married April Webb and they now live in Arlington, TX. They had 2 children: Caleb McDonald & Chloe McDonald Art’s grandson, Caleb, preceded him in death on 11/14/2016, also preceded by his parents and sister, Linda. Art enjoyed dove hunting in Haskell and went every September. Many friends, work associates/friends and his sons, attended this yearly hunt. Art looked forward to it every year even though he wasn’t well, he never missed this dove hunt. Art looked forward to every family dinner and holidays where all the kids came over. Many birthdays, holidays and Easter egg hunts happened at Art & Barbara’s house. It was all about the family and friends. He also was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing with his golfing buddies, especially John Ward who was one of his best friends.

A graveside for Art will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Following the graveside will be a celebration of life at 11:30 AM at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX.
