Bruce Alan Robertson

Bruce was born to Bill and Nadine Robertson in Elmira NY.

Survived by his spouse, Alicia Robertson. Children: Shauna (Andrew) Stillwell, Lindsay Robertson; Scott Bush. Grandchildren: Alexis Barker, Brooklynn Watts, Whitlee Robertson, Layton Stilwell, Dylan Stilwell, Shailynn Shepard, Austin Shepard. Siblings: Terri Robertson, Jamie Robertson and Christine (Ralph) Loudermilk. Five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Nadine Robertson and his sister, Kimberly Robertson Bolt.

Bruce had several positions before retiring early 25+ years ago to help take care of kids and the household while his wife traveled. People always wanted ‘his’ job.

His greatest accomplishment was being a dad and papa to not just his kids, but to all their friends who came around throughout the years. And let’s not forget his grand pups. He loved dogs like no other! A ‘boy and his dogs’ was a common phrase around the house.

Bruce was an avid golfer, softball player and bowler in his earlier years. The kids grew up on the fields and in bowling alleys. He was also a foodie! Give him a great filet mignon and lobster tail and he was in heaven. He could also make a MEAN crème brulee.

A special mention to his long-time friend of over 50 years, Lou Wallitt. Lou was there in the good times and in the bad, when he had to help Alicia get him to/from his daily doctor appointments.
