Carolyn Davis Summerford

Funeral Service: 12 PM Monday at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home. Graveside Service: 3 PM Monday at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, TX.

The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in Carolyn's honor.

Carolyn was a high school math teacher for the Fort Worth ISD, including Paschall High School, for 25 years. She loved sewing and was always making things for her children and grandchildren. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, George and Evelyn "Bettis" Davis; brother, George M. Davis; and husband of 40 years, Gerald Summerford. She is survived by her daughter, Gera Summerford and husband Dale Gilmore of Pigeon Forge, TN; son, Karl Summerford of Keller, TX; grandchildren, Birkin Gilmore of Knoxville, TN, Caryce Gilmore Leaders and husband Tommie of Council Bluffs, IA, Karlei Summerford of Keller, TX, and Kyle Summerford of Dallas, TX; five nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Fern Nix, Barbara Goodman, as well as many others that were special to Carolyn through the years.
