Chuck was born on December 24, 1948, in Woodbury, NJ, to Ralph and Emma (Warner) Hill. He received his bachelor's degree in systems analysis from Miami University (Ohio) and worked in the information technology field as a programmer, systems analyst, consultant, and project manager until his retirement from IBM in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Margaret and his four sons Stephen, David, Brian, and Kevin, his sisters Karen and Susan, brother Richard, and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kathleen.
A lifelong duplicate Bridge player, Chuck was happy to have the time in retirement to study and improve his game, achieve his goal of becoming a Life Master, and most of all enjoy the friendship and respect of his fellow bridge enthusiasts.
