“Lewis “Rooster” Welch, 46, passed away on February 20, 2022 in Trophy Club, Texas. He was born in Conroe, Texas on March 10, 1975 to Wally and Esther. After living in California, Tennessee, and Georgia, Lewis moved back to his home state of Texas. Lewis was an experienced aircraft inspector for over twenty years.
Lewis’ pride and joy was his two children, Savannah and Jacob. Together, they enjoyed fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, sitting around the campfire, and going to the movies. Lewis was a jovial, fun-loving man, who was always the life of the party.
Lewis leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Wally Welch and Esther Smith; grandmother, Dorothy Pacchino; sisters, Janet Rodriguez and Lorrie Branson; his children, Savannah Bruner and Jacob Welch and their respective significant others, Jacob Bruner and Katie Brookshire; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
In death he joins his step-father, Bob Smith, grandma and grandpa Welch, and Grandpa Pacchino.”
A celebration of life for Lewis will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022, 2PM, at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248.
