

Mary Ann Bower, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, in Keller, Texas. She will be forever remembered as a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved aunt, and loyal friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
Born on October 18, 1943, in Wilmington, Delaware, Mary Ann was the daughter of George and Anna McCormick. She dedicated much of her life to caring for and serving others. Early in her career, she worked as a teacher before going on to manage several gift shops. Later in life she continued her professional journey with Bank of America where she demonstrated a strong work ethic and determination by learning a new career.
Mary Ann was deeply involved in her church community and spent many years volunteering with adults with special needs, a reflection of her compassionate heart and unwavering generosity. She gave freely of her time, her love, and her resources, always putting the needs of others before her own.
She is survived by her loving children: her son, Paul Bower, his wife Tricia, and their daughter Sarah of Missouri City, Texas; and her daughter, Michelle Rodriguez-Labarca, her husband Miguel, and their children Angela and Michael of Keller Texas. Mary Ann is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kind and loving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna McCormick, and her brother, George “Bud” McCormick.
The family will host a Celebration of Life gathering on March 7 at the home of her daughter in Keller, Texas. A Service of Remembrance will also be planned in Delaware later in the spring. Those who wish to take part in either event are encouraged to reach out to Michelle for details.
