A private service will be held on March 17, 2023, at the Greenwood Mausoleum. A public Celebration of Life will be held at Old Town Keller Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
Pat was born on January 20, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Thomas M. and Margaret N. Sullivan, who raised Pat on Long Island, New York.
He graduated from Villanova University and later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Dallas. Pat worked in the aerospace industry as a contract administrator his entire career, retiring from Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth in 2011.
As a very young child, Pat loved going to the beach with his mother. Later in life, he would visit his sister, Kathleen, at her beach house on Long Island nearly every year until 2022.
Pat also enjoyed attending baseball games with his father, and his love for the game continued throughout his lifetime.
He continued this tradition by taking his children, Tom and Kathy, and later his many grandchildren, to see the Texas Rangers. He loved to eat at the games and even had a schedule for what would be on the menu for each inning.
Pat also loved watching Villanova Basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Baylor Bears.
Pat’s mother, Margaret, was an avid golfer who played into her early nineties. She suggested that Pat start golfing, and he loved to play, especially in his retirement years.
In addition, his love for music, especially playing piano and saxophone, was close to his heart and ours.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Margaret Sullivan, and brother-in-law, Harry Baugher.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; his sister, Kathleen Baugher; his daughter, Kathy Sullivan Stephens, and son-in-law, Johnny; his son, Tom Sullivan, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly; his grandchildren Patrick, Savannah, Connor Thomas, and Sera; and his niece and nephews Whitney, Spencer, and Kyle.
Pat also acted as a loving father to Jane’s children: John Citta and wife Kathy; Todd Citta; and Mary and husband Pat Henson; and grandchildren: Kayla and Alexa Citta; and Mackenzie and Morgan Henson; and great-grandchildren: Aiden, Kinsley, Rylen, and Rainy.
Pat was such an incredible and loving man. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
