Alex  was  rare  ...the hardest working  person I think I’ve ever met, enjoyed his company and Learned a lot from him ,  They raised some good lads and anyone that got to know him  realized  his family values  and that came first.
I will miss him and regret not visiting him after his retirement  so take time to visit and have a coffee with  older people , that have had  a positive impact on your lives....like Alex did to mine.
