Our deepest condolences to the family. Darrell worked with “Al” for twenty plus years at Fording River. Al was always good natured and could take a joke, even if it was on himself. When Al retired and moved to Kelowna we would visit him a couple times a year, either at his place in Rutland or invite him out to our campsite for a BBQ, even though Al could never figure out why anyone would want to camp or sit around a fire. Al was always ready to step up to the plate to lend a hand and was there to help pack up our trailer and park it at his place for the winter when I broke my achilles tendon and we had to leave in a hurry. We had many laughs with Al and have more than a few memories of him. We will miss him. Rest in Peace Al.

Our deepest condolences. I worked with Al for many years at Fording. He was a very kind man, always a smile and a hello. RIP Al

Sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a parent (my Dad, Feb 2021). Stay strong, they say it gets easier over time.
