Aurelia Svetina

She was born on September 9th, 1935 in the village of Dane pro Divaci, Slovenia. She grew up in a home with much love. Aurelia married her loving husband Bruno in 1953. They immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Calgary, Alberta. Aurelia made a home for her growing family. A home that Aurelia filled with feelings of love, warmth, comfort and security.

Aurelia is predeceased by her husband Bruno (2018) and daughter-in-law Rene in 2024. Aurelia was a loving mother to her children Branko and Vilma (Blaine), cherished grandmother to Graham (Rachel) and Brendan (Kelsey), and loving great-grandmother to Asher (son of graham and Rachel. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th,2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC

Private Family Inurnment will take place in the Westbank Cemetery.
