

Carolin was born on Sep. 14. 1944 in Saskatchewan, to Harold William Robertson, and Myrtle Evelyn Robertson, nee Benson. She attended school and university in Saskatchewan, then maintained a career as a school teacher after graduation. She worked mostly in remote northern communities of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Frobisher Bay. She also taught a year in Australia. Her specialties were math and science.
Throughout her life, Carolin traveled extensively all over the world, where she honed her skills as a photographer. She loved taking pictures of the local sights, people and their culture. She loved the outdoors, and adventure. She loved to kayak, canoe, hike, snowshoe, and cross country ski. Carolin also loved her cats. One of her favourites was Mitzy.
Carolin was kind and supportive to her friends and family, always looking for ways to help. She was an active member of several associations: The Kelowna Canoe & Kayak club, the Naturalist’s Club in Kelowna, and the District Genealogical Society. She was also a significant member of the Cemetery Recoding Committee project, contributing her organizational and photographic skills.
Carolin is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Myrtle Robertson, her brother, Garry Dale Robertson, and her sister-in-law, Sylvia Robertson. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Robertson, and her three nieces, one nephew, and their children.
She will be missed.
