Christopher is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Harry Gibbs, paternal uncle K. Brett Gibbs, and maternal grandparents George and Mary Wood.
Christopher will be lovingly remembered by his son, Remington; parents Craig Gibbs; Natalie Gibbs (Wood); younger siblings Catherine (Adam, Lily), and Curtis; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Christopher was born on June 27th, 1985, in Regina, Saskatchewan. He lived an energetic, colourful life and made connections with many kinds of people throughout his travels. He lived for music, dancing, and tackling new experiences. In his youth, Christopher excelled in soccer and other athletics where he could burn his endless energy. He later developed a passion and affinity for cooking, eventually becoming a chef and working his magic in many restaurants and resorts throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, and B.C. At the age of 12, Christopher traveled to India with the WE Charity, formerly known as Free the Children, an international development charity and youth empowerment movement.
Christopher’s proudest, most fulfilled moments came when he became a father to Remington in 2020. Christopher adored his son and immensely valued his role as a dad. Christopher lives on through his little boy.
A come-and-go Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at the Unitarian Fellowship of Regina, 2700 College Ave, Regina, SK.
