As a small girl, she moved with her family from Saskatchewan to settle in the Williams Lake area. She married and lived outside the Fort St. John area, ranching.
She spent the majority of her life in Lumby, and finally settled in Armstrong. She had a strong love for her many horses, loved her animals, her gardens, and just being outdoors.
Lumby is where she raised her 9 children, who now reside from Salmon arm, thru the Okanagan Valley, to Vancouver Island, and as far as Saskatchewan. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
